Dialogue, design, foley, and mixes in stereo and 5.1 for independent film. On shorts, I handle every stage myself. When a project calls for more, I assemble a team of top-tier foley artists, dialogue editors, and players and lead them through it. Either way, one person is accountable for how your film sounds. Juan Diego Borda
From the vibrant rhythms of my childhood in Colombia — street vendors’ calls, salsa pulsing through open windows — I discovered sound’s power to tell stories. I’m Juan Diego Borda, a Sound Supervisor with a UCLA Sound Engineering degree and a Berklee College of Music certificate in game audio.
My passion is crafting immersive audio for advertising, film, and video games, using music, foley, and sound design as my canvas to paint vivid narratives. I believe every project deserves a human touch — sound that stirs emotions, sparks memories, and brings ideas to life in ways no algorithm can.
